Stretch Therapy in London
One-to-one, Stretchologist-led stretch therapy across seven London studios. Move more freely, recover better and undo the tension of everyday life, with a session built around your body.
The Basics
What is stretch therapy?
Stretch therapy is guided, hands-on flexibility work delivered one-to-one. Rather than stretching alone, you lie on a comfortable treatment table while a trained Stretchologist moves you through a tailored sequence of stretches, doing the work for you so you can relax completely. Because the movement is supported and controlled, you reach a deeper, more controlled stretch than you could reach by yourself.
Stretch therapy and assisted stretching describe the same practice. Every StretchLAB session is built on PNF, or proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, a gentle contract-and-release technique that encourages your muscles to release a little further each time. It is calm, precise and genuinely enjoyable.
The StretchLAB Way
How we deliver it.
Our stretch therapy programme is physiotherapist-supervised, so the protocol behind every session is clinically grounded rather than improvised. Each one is delivered by a trained Stretchologist who assesses how you move, works through the areas that need attention, and adapts the session to how your body feels on the day.
Sessions run for 25 or 50 minutes. A 25 minute session is a focused reset for a few key areas; a 50 minute session is our signature full-body stretch. Whichever you choose, it is one-to-one, in a private setting, with a practitioner giving you their full attention from start to finish.
What It Helps
Goals it supports.
People come to stretch therapy for all sorts of reasons. It can help improve mobility and range of motion, support recovery between training sessions, ease the tightness that builds from long hours at a desk, and help you move and stand with better posture. Many clients simply find they feel looser, more comfortable and more at home in their bodies.
If you are managing an injury, our physiotherapists can assess you first, and your stretch programme is built around their findings. If your goal is flexibility, mobility and feeling freer, stretch therapy is for you.
In The Room
What a session looks like.
You arrive and keep your clothes and socks on, so there is nothing to change into. Your Stretchologist talks through how you are feeling and where you hold tension, then guides you onto the treatment table. From there, you relax while they take each limb and joint through its range, using the contract-and-release method to coax out a little more movement with every repetition.
It should never feel painful or forced. You stay in communication throughout, and the session is paced to your comfort. Most people leave feeling taller, looser and noticeably more mobile, and the benefits build the more regularly you come.

FAQ
Stretch therapy questions.
What is stretch therapy?
Stretch therapy is guided, one-to-one flexibility work. A trained Stretchologist moves you through a sequence of assisted stretches while you relax, helping lengthen muscle and improve range of motion more effectively than stretching on your own.
Is stretch therapy the same as assisted stretching?
Yes. Stretch therapy and assisted stretching describe the same thing: hands-on, practitioner-led stretching tailored to your body. At StretchLAB every session is delivered one-to-one on a treatment table.
What does a stretch therapy session involve?
Your Stretchologist starts by seeing how you move, then guides you through a tailored sequence of stretches using a gentle contract-and-release method. Sessions run for 25 or 50 minutes and finish with noticeably freer movement.
How often should I have stretch therapy?
Once a week suits most people and builds steady, lasting mobility. If you train hard or sit for long hours, twice a week can help you stay ahead of tension.
Is stretch therapy suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. You do not need to be flexible or sporty to start. Because every session is guided and tailored, stretch therapy suits all ages and abilities, including complete beginners.
